A workspace for meetings and client conversations: recordings, transcripts, notes and follow-up actions. Sales analysis, coaching and forecasting are separate modules to consider when comparing plans.

A meeting assistant and additional modules
Avoma combines several areas: AI Meeting Assistant, scheduling, conversation analysis and commercial data. Start comparisons with the workflow you need. One team may need only transcripts and notes, another needs CRM context, and a third needs call-evaluation tools. Access to the basic assistant does not include every platform module.
Inputs are a supported meeting recording and working context. Outputs include a transcript, topic chapters, AI notes, a follow-up email draft and data for connected systems. When transferring information automatically to a CRM, distinguish interpretations from facts explicitly confirmed by the client.
What to check in notes
Templates help format similar calls consistently, such as an introductory customer call or a weekly status update. Ask Avoma and search help retrieve information and revisit topics. This eases navigation but does not prove that every remark was transcribed correctly or every risk assessed objectively.
Check field-population rules before enabling automatic actions. Discussion of a possible purchase must not become an agreed budget, nor an intention to discuss an issue become an accepted deadline. Disputed conclusions need a checkable recording excerpt with context, rather than just a short summary.
Example: a conversation about a pilot
Prepare a template covering the client's goal, pilot conditions, obstacles and next steps. After recording, ask the assistant to fill it only with information discussed. An empty field is better than an invented answer. Agree on owners and dates before entering them in the CRM or sending an email.
If the team scores conversations, first agree on criteria and permissible exceptions. Review automated scores alongside concrete examples, and do not use them as the sole basis for decisions about a person. This differs from straightforward transcription and requires a separate check of the module configuration.
Trial access and programmatic integration
Official plans describe trials, paid seats for recording users and free viewer or collaboration roles. A free viewer role is not a permanent free recording plan. Exact prices and minimum team sizes are not fixed here.
APIs and webhooks are available on certain plans. Documentation requires administrative permissions, a key with the appropriate scope and observance of request limits. Fully local processing is not confirmed. Before connecting, check recording access, automatic note sharing, retention rules and exactly which CRM fields the system will change.

Strengths
- Meeting assistant and additional modules are distinguished
- Note templates and topic chapters

Practical example
- Task
- Prepare notes from a client call
- What to prepare
- A recording of a work meeting made with participants’ consent, plus a list of correctly spelled names.
Task brief or prompt
Task brief: identify the meeting’s decisions, assigned people and unresolved questions. Do not assign responsibility to someone unless the participants explicitly agreed to it. Check every disputed point against the recording.
Expected result
Draft meeting minutes with decisions and questions; participants must confirm any assigned tasks.
How to check the result
- Check names, deadlines and agreements against the recording.
- Remove invented tasks and obtain consent to process the conversation.
An editorial teaching example of a task brief, not the result of hands-on testing of the service. Check that the required mode is available, that you have rights to the source material and that the intended use of the result is permitted.
