Wordtune offers alternative English wording, helps change tone and improve your draft. It is a separate AI21 editing product, not an interface for hosting the Jamba model.

English wording and the right tone
Wordtune usually starts from an existing idea or draft. The tool suggests alternatives, and the author chooses wording that fits the intended meaning. This helps when an English sentence is awkward but you want to preserve its content.
Start by checking facts and intent. Requests, explanations and promises need different wording: a more confident tone must not turn an assumption into a commitment. Compare whole versions rather than individual attractive words.
The official toolkit describes contextual rewrite suggestions, formal and conversational tones, grammar editing and summarization tools. Tools for continuing and refining text are also available. Access and usage limits for these actions vary by plan.
If source material is in another language, check support for that translation direction and the characteristics of the English output. Translation capability does not imply equal accuracy for terminology, legal qualifications or professional jargon. Check important passages against the original.
Example: reply to a partner without sounding too harsh
Imagine an English draft response to a request to reschedule a meeting. The meaning is simple: the proposed date does not work, and two other times are available. Request or choose a more neutral version while preserving your boundaries and the specific time options.
Make sure that the new version does not sound like consent for an unconfirmed date. Then re-read the beginning and end of the letter: the tone should be even throughout the message.
Shortening without losing qualifications
A brief summary is useful for a long message or your own notes. But after the reduction, you need to check what conditions have disappeared. If the phrase refers to only one client or period, this restriction should be maintained.
Do not use paraphrasing to claim someone else's work as your own. Cite sources regardless of how much wording changes. Fluent grammar likewise does not prove factual accuracy: the editing tool serves another purpose.
How access works
The official page lists free Basic and paid tiers with different rewriting and summarization allowances; some paid plans offer a trial. Exact limits and terms change, so check them for your account.
Evaluate the product on your own typical texts: emails, notes or educational passages. Check both the number of suggested variants and how quickly you can understand their differences in meaning. No unverified local execution or public API is promised here.

Terms
Basic is free with limits; paid plans expand the available operations. The focus is English editing; support for a particular translation direction must be checked separately. From task to first result
Practical example
- Task
- Find clear English wording
- What to prepare
- English draft: We are sorry to say that your order will be sent one day later because we are checking the quality.
Task brief or prompt
Task: suggest clearer English wording for a delay message. Preserve the one-day delay and quality check; do not add compensation, an order number or a different reason. Compare neutral and more formal versions.
Expected result
English text with the same facts; the author chooses a suitable option and checks the meaning.
How to check the result
- Check that the delay has not changed.
- Read the option out loud and compare its tone with the relationship with the addressee.
