## Clipdrop Tools for Image Editing

Clipdrop is a set of tools for specific image edits. Its official website includes Cleanup for removing objects, background tools, image extension, relighting and upscaling. This format is useful when a single task does not justify a full graphics editor.

Clipdrop was created by InitML and is now part of Jasper. This matters for programmatic use: its API page points to the current Jasper documentation. Do not reuse old integration examples without checking the endpoints and terms.

## How to choose the right tool

For an unwanted object, begin with local removal rather than regenerating the entire photograph. For a different aspect ratio, extend the image while preserving the main object. When removing a background, inspect hair, translucent details and shadows. These operations serve different purposes and do not replace one another.

## Example: a polished photograph for an article

Take your own photograph and identify one distracting element. Select it with a small margin, generate the result and compare the edited area with the surrounding texture. If the background has repeating patterns or architectural lines, check their continuity: the model may invent a plausible but geometrically incorrect surface.

After processing, save a copy, leaving the original file. Removal of the object changes the content of the photo, so for documentary material such editing can not be considered a neutral technical correction. For artistic illustration, the absence of noticeable seams and compliance with the plan is more important.

## Access and restrictions

Individual tools have free and paid terms with different limits. The official page permits commercial use under the service rules, but rights to uploaded source material remain your responsibility. For the API, use the current Jasper platform rather than an unverified older library.
